Building a raft is an excellent scout adventure that bonds the entire group and is always heaps of fun while building it and later testing it out. The challenge calls for good planning, a thorough preparation, and finally testing how it floats on the lake. The participants receive all the necessary tools and ingredients to complete the task. They are assisted by an experienced scout who offers advice and helps out (which knots to use, how to excite everyone about the activity …).
