Every campfire is magical and slightly different!
The Bohinj Scout Center lies in the heart of the Julian Alps, only a few meters from Lake Bohinj and next to the Naklova Glava beach. Nearby are the popular Vogel ski center, Zlatorog’s Fairy Land, Savica Fall and many other Bohinj landmarks. This idyllic location has been the main educational center for Slovenian scouts for over 70 years. Today Bohinj Scout Center is also a popular family and group holiday destination enjoyed by people who want to explore the unspoiled nature of Triglav National Park.
The chalet is located on the edge of the camp area, just a few minutes walk from Lake Bohinj. It has several rooms offering 38 beds.
The chalet also has a multipurpose dining room, club room, classroom in shared bathrooms.
We can provide three daily meals prepared in the professional kitchens in the house. The Chalet Forest School admits groups.
This exclusive location right next to Lake Bohinj accommodates guests in 33 scout tents featuring basic wooden beds. The campsite also has three large multipurpose tents for hosting workshops, a central campfire, a sports field, and much more.
The camp also has three multi-purpose tents for workshops, a central fireplace, a playground and plenty of extra space. Shared bathrooms are for guests at the Chalet Forest School.
Laški Rovt campsite is located on large meadow, surrounded by forest and it lays 1200 m from Lake Bohinj. A pleasant walkway through the shady woods connects campsite and the lake.
The space is equipped with everything necessary for organizing summer camps with up to 260 people provided with their own tents.
This campsite is opened only during summer season.
Start your summer with a sports or research camp in the pristine nature of Triglav National Park, on a forest clearing only a few meters from Lake Bohinj. In addition to accommodation and food, the Bohinj Scout Center also offers a number of adventurous program contents.
The campsite is an outdoor classroom where we apply the scout method element of learning by doing to school subject matter. At Forest school, we have developed four program bundles: wilderness survival training and nature protection, scout theatre, pioneering workshops, and orienteering in urban environments and nature.
